This course on creative coding is designed specifically for anyone who has never coded before, or feels they need extra support getting started with coding. You'll learn the fundamentals of coding in a fun way - creative visual designs - exploring shape, colour, repetition, randomness, not-so-randomness, recursion & fractals, animation. The course has been developed and tested with new coders over 5 years. The primary aim is to have fun creating and sharing visual designs - and as a painless side effect we'll be learning to code, and gaining understanding of key concepts transferrable to any programming language.
